Racing Incident Report

DYNAMIC FUN jumped very awkwardly and bumped the outside of its starting stall, because of this S Dye was momentarily unbalanced. Then just after the start, DYNAMIC FUN was steadied away from the heels of EVER MORE which on leaving the gates got its head on the side, shifted in abruptly and bumped MIGHTY AND GOLD. About 100 Metres after the start, DYNAMIC FUN became unbalanced and knuckled. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, DRAGON HORSE was inclined to lay out. In the Straight, DEVON ELITE shifted out towards FLYING GENERAL. Because of this, M Cahill stopped riding and changed his whip hand. DYNAMIC FUN was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, DYNAMIC FUN was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said it was in an abnormally distressed condition and had a significant inflammation of its throat (pharyngitis) which was observed following an endoscopic examination. Before DYNAMIC FUN can race again, it will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. DEVON ELITE and FLYING GENERAL were sent for sampling.
