Racing Incident Report

As the gates opened, POWER RETURN, which was restless in its stall, sat back and as a consequence lost a considerable amount of ground. On jumping from the outside barrier, COUNTRY MAGIC was taken back. CHARMGOLD began awkwardly. TRULLI began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of WINE WIN. Approaching the 1100 Metres, CONFUCIUS CLASSIC, which was wide on the track, was steadied and taken across behind runners. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, as a consequence of racing tight with COUNTRY MAGIC, AMO shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of BUCCANEER. At the 250 Metres, CONFUCIUS CLASSIC was steadied and shifted to the outside of AMO to obtain clear running, then after the 200 Metres was again steadied and shifted out further away from the heels of GRAND COMMANDS. Throughout the race, CIRCUIT HERO travelled wide and without cover. BUCCANEER and FLYING GALLOP were sent for sampling.
