Racing Incident Report

Just prior to the start being effected, FLASHING GUY became fractious and as the gates opened began awkwardly and consequently lost ground. CLASSIC AWARDS was slow to begin. CREATIVE UNION began awkwardly, resulting in B Doyle, its rider, losing the use of his right stirrup iron for some distance. After being momentarily crowded for room inside SUPER PLUS approaching the 800 Metres, IMPECCABLE got its head up, shifted in and was then momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of VINTAGE HUSSLER. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, SUPREME TAIJI got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of HINYUEN PALADIN. Near the 100 Metres, VINTAGE HUSSLER shifted out and brushed SUPREME TAIJI. Throughout the race, SUPER PLUS travelled wide and without cover. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that HINYUEN PALADIN had sustained a mild abrasion to the right hind cannon and had lost its left hind plate. A veterinary inspection of IMPECCABLE after the race did not show any significant findings. VINTAGE HUSSLER, HAPPY YEAH YEAH and SUPER PLUS were sent for sampling.
