Racing Incident Report

From the outside barriers, NOT USUAL TALENT and HARMONY VICTORY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, INSAYSHABLE was left racing wide and without cover.
Near the 1350 Metres, EAGLE WAY and NOT USUAL TALENT raced tight inside INSAYSHABLE which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening.
After the race, Z Purton stated that SOUTHERN LEGEND travelled more keenly in the middle stages than it had previously when ridden by him. He said he placed SOUTHERN LEGEND under heavy pressure near the 450 Metres, however, the horse did not show any turn of foot and then in the Straight was disappointing in that it failed to respond to his riding and finished off the race only one-paced. A veterinary inspection of SOUTHERN LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SACRED CAPITAL, DOCTOR GEOFF and HARMONY VICTORY were sent for sampling.
