Racing Incident Report

HOSSEGOR was slowly away, was then steadied across behind other runners into a position at the rear but towards the rail. AIR FORCE ONE missed the start slightly, was then awkward between FORTUNE PRIZES and HERO'S WAY. Near the 1200 Metres, BON BON was momentarily awkward on the heels of TOP QUALITY. About the 700 Metres, LONGMARK got its head on the side, lay in, this caused some crowding to GREAT CHIEF. About the 500 Metres, NIGHT HUNTER, which was hanging in, bumped BON BON. Also about the 500 Metres, GREAT CHIEF, which was giving ground, was steadied when crowded between FORTUNE PRIZES which was taken in slightly by TOP QUALITY and the hindquarters of LONGMARK. AIR FORCE ONE, which was following, was also inconvenienced. In the early part of the Straight, FORTUNE PRIZES and LONGMARK were crowded for room when TOP QUALITY, which was racing tight inside BON BON, got its head on the side and lay in away from that runner. BON BON itself was racing tight on the inside of NIGHT HUNTER. In view of all the circumstances, the Stewards considered they were not in a position to take any action.
