Racing Incident Report

Whilst being saddled, GOGGLES became fractious and reared, got its leg over a partition. Acting on veterinary advice, GOGGLES was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. FORWOOD was slowly away. In the middle stages, THANK HEAVENS had a tendency to pull and several times was awkward when close to the heels of DANSWINNER. About the 300 Metres, THANK HEAVENS was checked when crowded between DANSWINNER which shifted out slightly and BRILLIANT WAY which shifted in from behind LUCKY SIX. In the run to the winning post, PRIME WITNESS shifted out, this caused some inconvenience to OLYMPIC EXPRESS. About right on the winning post, ROYAL MAJESTY was steadied to avoid the heels of DIAMOND MOON which shifted out. MERIDIAN STAR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
