Racing Incident Report

WONDERFUL LIFE left the gates very awkwardly, threw its head about, shifted in abruptly, bumped the hindquarters of BRILLIANT LEADER and became badly unbalanced. Before racing again, WONDERFUL LIFE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. LOK WAH TREASURE was slowly away. Turning out of the Straight the first time, LOK WAH TREASURE was checked when crowded by SUPER SPLENDID which after momentarily taken in by SPECIFIC SORCEROR (D Dunn) got its head on the side and shifted away from that runner. Because of the circumstances, no action was taken. However, D Dunn was advised to exercise care at all times when shifting ground. From a difficult gate, STRATEGIC MOVE was obliged to race wide throughout, was not able to find any cover and over the concluding stages dropped out. Before being allowed to race again, STRATEGIC MOVE will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. Near the 1600 Metres, DARWIN got its head up and shifted out, this caused some inconvenience to SEA PEARL. After this incident, DARWIN continued to lay out for the rest of the race. Approaching the 1600 Metres, EXPRESS LOT was steadied when momentarily crowded by OPTIC CHIEF which was taken in slightly by SEA PEARL. Just on straightening, LOK WAH TREASURE was checked when disappointed for running between SUPER SPLENDID and ORIENTAL TREASURE. To obtain running, LOK WAH TREASURE was shifted onto the rail. STRATEGIC MOVE and SEA PEARL were sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
