Racing Incident Report

INDUSTRIAL PRIDE was slow to begin. On jumping, WATCH ME WIN bounded in the air, bumped the inside gate of its stall and lost ground. MR BASKETBALL began awkwardly and got its head up. On jumping, INDUBITABLY BLISS shifted out and carried SMART CHIEF wider. Also on jumping, CHERISHED, which had drawn the outside gate, was immediately steadied and shifted across behind runners to a position on the rail but at the rear. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, MR BASKETBALL was steadied when crowded for room between ISLAND WEST TREBLE which shifted in slightly and MODERN PROSPECT which shifted out. At the 1300 Metres, SUGAR AND SPICE was momentarily steadied to avoid the heels of INDUBITABLY BLISS which shifted in when only just clear. At the 700 Metres, SUGAR AND SPICE was tightened for room between SMART CHIEF and INDUBITABLY BLISS which shifted off the fence from behind REWARD. SMART CHIEF, SUGAR AND SPICE and MODERN PROSPECT were sent for sampling.
