Racing Incident Report

SPEED OF LIGHT began awkwardly, then shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between TSUNAMI and GOLDEN MAPLE, both of which shifted ground. CHEERFUL HEART was slow to begin. Approaching the 300 Metres, TSUNAMI was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between THE ONLY ONE and UPPA HAND, both of which shifted ground. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, G Schofield (FREE WAY) explained in the Home Straight the horse hung in rather badly and because of this he was not able to ride it out in his usual manner. NORTHERN ROSE and TSUNAMI were sent for sampling.
