Racing Incident Report

On jumping, CRYSTAL CHARM threw its head about. RED ZONE missed the start slightly and shortly afterwards was brushed by TRIPLE EXPRESSO. About the 700 Metres, SOLID CONTACT shifted in slightly and bumped THE KING OF CLOYNE. Near the 200 Metres, STYLISH shifted out to find running and go forward. Approaching the winning post, EXPEDIENT was inconvenienced by TRIPLE EXPRESSO which shifted in slightly and about right on the winning post threw its head about when it was close to the whip of Apprentice Y T Cheng (RED ZONE). About 50 Metres from the line, A Marcus (TRIPLE EXPRESSO) had the whip knocked from his hand by the whip of R Fradd (EXPEDIENT). OUR CLASS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon said TOY WARRIOR was significantly lame in its near side front leg. Before TOY WARRIOR can race again, the horse will be required to pass an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
