Racing Incident Report

BERIO was withdrawn on 27.3.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (sore left fore pastern/fetlock). Before being allowed to race again, BERIO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. On arrival at the Start, Z Purton reported that HAPPY GUYS had made contact with a rail on leaving the Parade Ring. HAPPY GUYS was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. OSVALDO was slow to begin. Near the 1000 Metres, JAMESINA was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EMPEROR CLAUDIUS which was racing close to the heels of HOT SHOT. After the 500 Metres, JAMESINA was shifted out away from the heels of EMPEROR CLAUDIUS which was shifted to the outside of HOT SHOT. HELENE SPIRIT and LIBERATOR were sent for sampling.
