Racing Incident Report

GO GO WIN was withdrawn on 12.12.17 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter TRAVEL FIRST (Apprentice H T Mo). Before being allowed to race again, GO GO WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Apprentice M F Poon (HAPPY AND HEALTHY) was fined the sum of $2,000 for presenting himself to be weighed out with the incorrect saddle cloth number.
EASY HEDGE began awkwardly and lost ground.
From a wide barrier, when being steadied to obtain a position with cover, SMILING CHARM got its head up on a number of occasions.
From the outside barrier, HAPPY AND HEALTHY was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After the 1300 Metres, THE JUDGE was left racing wide and without cover.
Also after the 1300 Metres, EASY HEDGE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of JADE FORTUNE.
Over the concluding stages, TRAVEL FIRST was inconvenienced when racing tight outside PHOTON WILLIE which shifted out marginally under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of JADE FORTUNE and EASY HEDGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MISTER MONTE and DR WIN WIN were sent for sampling.
