Racing Incident Report

EL PRADO STAR began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped ENRICHING which also began awkwardly. SPARKY was slow to begin. Making the turn at the 700 Metres, KEEN FLYER hung out. Because of this, inconvenience was caused to HELENE ELEGANCE. Near the 200 Metres, KEEN FLYER, which commenced to give ground, got its head up when racing awkwardly inside the heels of HELENE ELEGANCE. EL PRADO STAR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of EL PRADO STAR after the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of EL PRADO STAR, which tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EL PRADO STAR will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DOUBLE DIP was sent for an official veterinary examination. After the race, DOUBLE DIP was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was noted to displace its soft palate when undergoing an endoscopic examination.
