Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, DANESIS lifted its front feet off the ground and then began very awkwardly, resulting in its rider, Apprentice K C Leung, becoming unbalanced in the saddle. As a result, DANESIS lost a considerable amount of ground. Shortly after the start, THUMBS UP was crowded for room between MR MEDICI and EYSHAL which shifted in. Near the 100 Metres, JAMESINA was steadied away from the heels of UNIQUE JEWELLERY and shifted out to continue into clear running. A veterinary inspection of IRON FIST after the race did not show any significant findings. VIVA PATACA, COLLECTION and UNIQUE JEWELLERY were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that YOUNG ELITE had bled from both nostrils.
