Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the Start, S K Sit expressed concern over the action of CALIFORNIA BISHOP. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. TIME SUPREME was slow to begin. After the 1200 Metres, INFINITE DELIGHT was left racing wide without cover, then in the Straight gave ground. From the 300 Metres until the 200 Metres, FEARLESS had difficulty obtaining clear running. INFINITE DELIGHT and SIKANDER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of INFINITE DELIGHT after the race did not show any significant findings. After the race, SIKANDER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucopus in the horse's trachea. RICE FIELD and CALIFORNIA BISHOP were sent for sampling.
