Racing Incident Report

BOND jumped awkwardly, then shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of GOLDEN AIR. On the first turn, MERRY MERRY shifted out slightly away from VICTORY MARBLE and brushed SMART WINNER. Near the 900 Metres, TRICCOLO struck the running rail and then again near the 500 Metres when racing awkwardly inside SUPREME GOLIATH. About the 800 Metres, V-CAN got its head up when momentarily crowded by SMART WINNER which was taken in slightly to avoid the heels of GOLDEN AIR (K S Yu) which shifted in when not clear. NEVER SAY NEVER, which was racing to the inside of V-CAN, was inconvenienced to a lesser extent. It was decided no direct action be taken, but K S Yu was severely reprimanded and told he must exercise far more care when shifting ground. At the conclusion of the inquiry, he was also advised the evidence he tended had been of concern and he must be more straightforward with it. VICTORY MARBLE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
