Racing Incident Report

BRAVE KNIGHT, which was standing badly, was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, COP HILL LAD was steadied when crowded for room between GOLDEN CARE and JOLLY GAINS which shifted out. At the 600 Metres, OUR JET was checked when crowded for room inside JOLLY GAINS which when proving difficult to settle remained racing inside the heels of PAOBRIDGE which shifted in slightly. In the opinion of the Stewards, the manner in which JOLLY GAINS was racing had contributed to this incident, therefore no action was taken. After the 600 Metres and again at the 400 Metres, EVERY TIME was steadied away from the heels of INVERNESS. Near the 500 Metres, DANHERO, which was hanging in, was unable to maintain its position between GOLDEN CARE and EVERY TIME. Near the 200 Metres, JOLLY GAINS was momentarily crowded for room inside VICTORY WARRIOR. When VICTORY WARRIOR shifted out to relieve this crowding, some inconvenience was caused to PAOBRIDGE. JOLLY GAINS and VICTORY WARRIOR were sent for sampling.
