Racing Incident Report

NORTHERNER began awkwardly. SURVEYOR, GOOD HEART and MASTERY were slow to begin. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, MASTERY got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SUCCESSIVE GAINS. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SURVEYOR was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of SEASONS TREASURE. Near the 1300 Metres, SUCCESSIVE GAINS was crowded for room inside FRUITY FRUITY. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, COSMO SUCCESS was checked when crowded for room inside GOOD HEART which was carried in by SEASONS TREASURE (R Fradd) which got its head on the side and shifted ground when hanging. R Fradd was told whilst the Stewards accepted he had his horse's head turned out, he would be expected to make a greater effort to relieve pressure to runners on his inside in similar circumstances. Making the Home Turn, NORTHERNER became unbalanced when improving into a narrow run between GOOD HEART and MASTERY. CONNOISSEUR'S LOVE made the Home Turn awkwardly and carried FRUITY FRUITY wider. Shortly after straightening, NORTHERNER was steadied and shifted to the outside of SEASONS TREASURE. After the 200 Metres, SUCCESSIVE GAINS was shifted to the outside of CALIFORNIA BISHOP to continue going forward. FRUITY FRUITY and SUCCESSIVE GAINS were sent for sampling.
