Racing Incident Report

GRAND COMMANDS, FLAMING LAMBORGINI and CLASSA FOR EVER were slow to begin. On jumping, CAPTAIN HAPPY was bumped by GALLANT KNIGHT which shifted in. Near the 500 Metres, CLASSA FOR EVER shifted in and was steadied away from the heels of OKEYDOKEY. In the early part of the Straight, CLASSA FOR EVER hung in. Near the 250 Metres, GALLANT KNIGHT was steadied and shifted to the outside of CLASSA FOR EVER. Over about the final 200 Metres, OKEYDOKEY hung in. Over about the last 100 Metres, FLAMING LAMBORGINI was awkwardly placed outside the heels of GRAND COMMANDS and because of this was not fully tested. For the major part of the race, DARTER raced wide and without cover. OKEYDOKEY and CAPTAIN HAPPY were sent for sampling.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 17 February 2005)
DANHERO was examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in the left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DANHERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
