Racing Incident Report

AWARD and BEST POWER were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, HOLD HANDS was taken across behind runners. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, EYE WITNESS was steadied away from the heels of ELFHELM which shifted in when barely clear. After this, EYE WITNESS raced wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. At the 1200 Metres, QUALITY-QUALITY was steadied away from the heels of ELFHELM. Rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight, HOLD HANDS was held up and unable to improve. Near the 100 Metres, BOBO WIN was steadied when momentarily crowded inside KOWLOON FIT. At the 50 Metres, HOLD HANDS was momentarily steadied away from the heels of QUALITY-QUALITY which shifted in. Over the concluding stages, AWARD hung in. In the Straight, DASHING THUNDER hung in. BUTTERFIELD and ELFHELM were sent for sampling.
