Racing Incident Report

BAUHINIA began awkwardly and lost ground. On jumping, SUPER IDEAL and AIPODER IMAGE were taken back. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, SURE GAIN failed to muster. For some distance after the 1200 Metres, NOBLE ZOOM got its head up when being steadied to allow ZERO GRAVITY to cross to the lead. Near the 800 Metres, AIPODER IMAGE was carried wider by SURE GAIN and travelled without cover for the remainder of the race. On straightening, SURE GAIN was shifted wider in an endeavour to find clear running. In the early part of the Straight, SUPER IDEAL, which was hanging in, was steadied away from the heels of AIPODER IMAGE. After this, SUPER IDEAL continued to hang in and proved difficult to ride for the remainder of the race. After the 200 Metres, OSCAR PRINCE was bumped by AIPODER IMAGE (Y T Cheng) which shifted in. Then over the concluding stages, OSCAR PRINCE was carried in by AIPODER IMAGE which shifted ground. Y T Cheng was told in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount. LITTLE BIG BOY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of LITTLE BIG BOY after the race did not show any significant findings. KING OF FISH and AIPODER IMAGE were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUPER IDEAL had lost its right front plate.
