3 6 PERFECT GENERAL (J417) Jumped awkwardly.
4 4 SYMBOL OF STRENGTH (K352) Shifted in at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced. Raced keenly in the early stages. L Ferraris was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides inside the 150 Metres.
5 12 SPIRIT OF PEACE (K007) Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of SYMBOL OF STRENGTH to continue into clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 8 ANOTHER ZONDA (K176) Shifted out on jumping and was bumped. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind LUCKY PLANET.
7 2 WINGS OF WAR (H162) In the middle stages raced keenly.
8 9 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) When caught wide in the early stages was shifted across behind runners where it obtained cover near the 900 Metres.
9 1 GRACIOUS EXPRESS (J188) Approaching the 250 Metres was shifted in towards WINGS OF WAR and was steadied. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 10 GAZELEY (K253) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between ANOTHER ZONDA and SYMBOL OF STRENGTH, both of which shifted ground. Raced keenly in the early stages and approaching the first turn was steadied to avoid WINGS OF WAR.
11 11 GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by DOUBLE MONEY which shifted in. Approaching the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid GRACIOUS EXPRESS when that runner shifted out and away from WINGS OF WAR. Near the 50 Metres M L Yeung dropped his whip. M L Yeung reported that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, was uncomfortable racing on the track. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
12 7 DOUBLE MONEY (K512) Shifted in on jumping, made contact with GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY and became unbalanced. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <29/1/2026 Additional Veterinary Report>DOUBLE MONEY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. DOUBLE MONEY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DOUBLE MONEY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV PRESTIGE ALWAYS (J300) Withdrawn on 27.1.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter ANOTHER ZONDA. Before being allowed to race again, PRESTIGE ALWAYS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
