1 5 CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468) Over the final 150 Metres lay in. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) Jumped awkwardly, became unbalanced, shifted out and made contact with HEY BROS. Apprentice E C W Wong was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 350 Metres (see METRO POWER). Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 LOVE TOGETHER (L052) Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 11 PI LEGEND (L117) No report.
5 7 HEY BROS (L150) On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by ETERNAL FORTUNE which shifted out.
6 9 ACE CHAMPION (K379) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded by IRON SECURITY which shifted in slightly.
7 10 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Lay in in the Home Straight when under pressure.
8 1 RED ELEGANCE (H241) Jumped only fairly and then was hampered when bumped by HEY BROS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 8 IRON SECURITY (L174) Shifted in on jumping and made contact with ACE CHAMPION.
10 6 METRO POWER (K408) Apprentice E C W Wong (ETERNAL FORTUNE) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 350 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of METRO POWER, resulting in METRO POWER losing its rightful running and being checked. Apprentice Wong was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Sunday, 22 February 2026 at Sha Tin. In addition, Apprentice Wong was fined $25,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 1 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 2 WHIZZ KID (E392) Jumped awkwardly.
WV 12 E HO HO (L119) Was a late withdrawal acting on veterinary advice after sustaining multiple abrasions to its right front leg and head whilst being transported to the course. Before being allowed to race again, E HO HO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) Withdrawn on 3.2.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter E HO HO. Before being allowed to race again, FUN N FUN TOGETHER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
