3 10 RUN RUN TIMING (H403) Over the concluding stages made contact with SHOOTING TO TOP due to both runners shifting ground. R Kingscote pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 1100 Metres (see VIVA FIRECRACKER).

6 12 VIVA FIRECRACKER (L065) Shifted in at the start, made contact with SMILING ONE and became unbalanced. Near the 1500 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied when momentarily crowded by SHOOTING TO TOP which shifted in and away from RUN RUN TIMING. R Kingscote (RUN RUN TIMING) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 1100 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of VIVA FIRECRACKER, resulting in VIVA FIRECRACKER, which was racing keenly, having to be checked to avoid RUN RUN TIMING. R Kingscote was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 31 May 2026 and to expire on Thursday, 4 June 2026 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. Sent for sampling post-race. <14/5/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Officer reported that VIVA FIRECRACKER was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing.
