Racing Incident Report

1 1 FORZA TORO (K355) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 7 PODIUM (H173) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 PRECISION HOPE (L047) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
4 5 LUCKY YEAR (K443) Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when racing tight between PRECISION HOPE and PODIUM which shifted out under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 2 STURDY RUBY (H207) Bumped shortly after the start. C Y Ho reported that after settling back in the field his mount was disadvantaged by the early stages being run outside of standard time and as a result found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 4 THE AZURE (J227) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Z Purton stated that his mount did not travel well during the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
7 3 SUPERB KID (H298) Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 1200 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which was taken in by PRECISION HOPE (A Badel) which shifted in before being corrected by Jockey Badel. A Badel was reprimanded. Near the 500 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which hung in.
8 8 STAR ELEGANCE (K536) On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by PODIUM which shifted out and away from LUCKY YEAR. STAR ELEGANCE then shifted out and made contact with STURDY RUBY. L Hewitson reported that his mount hung in throughout the event and in the Home Straight proved difficult to ride out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
