Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 1 JUMBO BLESSING (K529) Bumped shortly after the start. Leaving the 600 Metres struck the heels of HAPPY UNITED (M Chadwick) when being checked to avoid HAPPY UNITED which shifted in and away from FLYING TING LOK when being corrected by Jockey Chadwick. Whilst the Stewards accepted that Jockey Chadwick had endeavoured to prevent his mount from shifting in he was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 GEORGIAN SIGMA (L007) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 SUPERB KING (K479) C L Chau stated that the instructions were to go forward. He said his mount jumped only fairly and then was crowded by SECRET INGREDIENT which shifted out. He said as a consequence SUPERB KING settled further back in the field than intended. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 12 MAPOGO (L175) Lay in over the concluding stages and approaching the winning post made contact with the running rail.
5 6 DOUBLE ALPHA (L291) Bumped shortly after the start.
6 3 BLUE ILLUSION (K468) Leaving the 100 Metres was eased when racing in restricted room between SUPERB KING which shifted in slightly and GEORGIAN SIGMA which shifted out.
7 9 HARMONY FIRE (E175) Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that HARMONY FIRE was lame in its right front leg after the race. Before being allowed to race again, HARMONY FIRE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
8 2 COPPER CORE (L214) Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after the start was checked when crowded between CASA BUDDY and SUPERB KING which was taken out by SECRET INGREDIENT. Approaching the 250 Metres was steadied when unable to continue to improve to the outside of SUPERB KING.
9 11 HAPPY UNITED (H208) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by DOUBLE ALPHA which shifted in slightly. Near the 750 Metres was steadied when crowded by FLYING TING LOK which was taken in by GEORGIAN SIGMA (A Atzeni) which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. A Atzeni was reprimanded. Was left racing wide and without cover from the 550 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY UNITED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 8 FLYING TING LOK (K228) Crowded near the 750 Metres. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
11 10 CASA BUDDY (L101) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 7 SECRET INGREDIENT (L290) Shifted out at the start and made contact with SUPERB KING when being corrected by its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
