1 4 ELEGANT LIFE (J366) Raced keenly in the middle stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 12 SAME TO YOU (H057) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 COUNTRY PRIDE (L325) When questioned regarding the horse racing in a more forward position Z Purton stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position preferably with cover. He said after jumping well when CASA BUDDY and DRAGON FOUR SEAS which were positioned to his inside were crowded for room he was able to allow COUNTRY PRIDE to stride forward. He added when the pace of the event was run on standard time this resulted in COUNTRY PRIDE racing in an on-pace position, however, was obliged to race wide and without cover when not able to cross runners to his inside. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions.
4 7 THE PERFECT MATCH (J253) Approaching the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded by ELEGANT LIFE which shifted in and away from LEADING DRAGON despite the efforts of its rider E C W Wong.
5 1 DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317) Crowded on jumping between FORERUNNER and CASA BUDDY. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded by SAME TO YOU which shifted out. In this incident DRAGON FOUR SEAS shifted out, made contact with CASA BUDDY and became unbalanced.
6 2 FORERUNNER (G465) On jumping shifted out and made contact with DRAGON FOUR SEAS. FORERUNNER then raced tight between DRAGON FOUR SEAS and SAME TO YOU which shifted out. Making the Home Turn was unable to improve to the outside of SAME TO YOU when that runner shifted out. As a result FORERUNNER was shifted to the inside of SAME TO YOU to continue into clear running.
7 3 FIND MY LOVE (H110) No report.
8 5 LEADING DRAGON (L083) Noted to have sustained a minor laceration to the right hock whilst being transported to the course, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Bumped approaching the winning post. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 6 LOOKING BRIGHT (K315) In the middle stages raced keenly when positioned outside the lead. Leaving the 200 Metres was momentarily crowded by COUNTRY PRIDE which shifted in slightly. Approaching the winning post shifted in and made contact with LEADING DRAGON. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 9 WINNING COMBO (L292) Jumped only fairly.
11 8 CHAMP'S DOMAIN (L318) Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was eased when LOOKING BRIGHT shifted out.
12 11 CASA BUDDY (L101) Shifted in on jumping and made contact with DRAGON FOUR SEAS. Near the 1100 Metres became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by DRAGON FOUR SEAS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. H T Mo was severely reprimanded in relation to using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on one occasion near the 300 Metres.
