Racing Incident Report

Just before the gates were released, SIROCCO lunged forward and sprung its gate open. NEW PLANET jumped awkwardly and shifted out. About the 1400 Metres, NEW PLANET shifted out and bumped GREEN VACATION. Shortly after this, GREEN VACATION went forward to be racing near the front. After the 200 Metres, HARMONY PARTNER shifted in and brushed SUPER BLITZ. In the run to the winning post, HARMONY PARTNER and SUPER BLITZ came together as both horses shifted ground. Before the declaration of weighed-in, S Dye (HARMONY PARTNER) sought permission to view the official videos as he was of the opinion there may have been grounds to lodge a protest/objection against the winner, SUPER BLITZ. However, after seeing the available films of the concluding stages, he decided it was inappropriate to object. Accordingly weighed-in was declared. SUPER BLITZ and HARMONY PARTNER were sent for sampling.
