Racing Incident Report

WONDERFUL BOY was withdrawn on raceday morning on veterinary grounds (respiratory tract infection). Before being allowed to race again, WONDERFUL BOY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. When the gates opened, BAUHINIA bounded in the air and lost a significant amount of ground. On jumping, CLASSA FOR EVER got its head up and lost ground. Also on jumping, REAL THRILLS was carried out by WINNING POWER which shifted out. LEGIONNAIRE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, COULDN'T CARE LESS stumbled, then throughout the race hung in badly and proved very difficult to ride. After the 500 Metres, MAN ON THE MOON commenced to hang out, shifted ground, then again after the 400 Metres shifted out abruptly when being ridden along. Over the concluding stages, BINGSON hung out. COULDN'T CARE LESS and LEGIONNAIRE were sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, COULDN'T CARE LESS and LEGIONNAIRE were examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings. WINNING POWER and GREAT WIN were sent for sampling.
