Racing Incident Report

ALAKAZAM and ELITE WIN were slow to begin. NOBLE HEART began awkwardly, then at the 1400 Metres was bumped by FUJI SUNRISE. At the 1000 Metres, KINGSTON GLORY, which was proving difficult to settle, was checked away from the heels of SOLAR which itself steadied away from the heels of DANEFACTOR. When placed under pressure in the Straight, STAR OF SHANTOU got its head on the side and hung in. FUJI SUNRISE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, FUJI SUNRISE was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings. STAR OF SHANTOU, A PLUS FIT and SOLAR were sent for sampling.
