Racing Incident Report

FORTUNE DANCER and SYLLABUS were slow to begin. On jumping, COTTON BALL bumped the inside gate of its stall. From a gate towards the outside, ESPRIT D'OR was immediately taken across behind runners. VICTORY TREASURE was a little slow to begin and then from the outside gate raced wide and without cover throughout. Near the 800 Metres, VICTORY TREASURE was steadied away from the heels of GOLDEN MAPLE which itself was steadied away from the heels of WINNING PARADE after being carried out by LAZY BUDDIES (G Schofield) which at this time was ridden along in an endeavour to shift to the outside of X-SPEED. G Schofield was reprimanded and told this type of riding cannot be condoned. At the 600 Metres, ESPRIT D'OR was steadied away from the heels of MADE IN HONGKONG. At the 350 Metres, MYTHIC STEED was steadied and shifted out to avoid the heels of WINNING PARADE which commenced to give ground. SUPER DANA was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SUPER DANA after the race did not show any significant findings. LAZY BUDDIES, ESPRIT D'OR and X-SPEED were sent for sampling.
