Racing Incident Report

GANBARIA was withdrawn on 8.4.05 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, GANBARIA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. When the gates opened, SEVENS HEAVEN bounded in the air, began awkwardly and lost ground. BOREAS bounded in the air at the start, then from a wide barrier travelled wide throughout without cover and in the Straight gave ground. In the middle stages, CHAMPION KING hung out. At the 250 Metres, BROAD SPECTRUM was steadied away from the heels of SUPER HONEY which at this time was carried wider by RAINBOW EXPRESS. Over the concluding stages, TOFFEE got its head on the side and was inclined to shift out. In the Straight, PRIME DELIGHT hung out and proved difficult to ride. BOREAS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of BOREAS after the race did not show any significant findings. GOOD BA BA and TOFFEE were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported CHAMPION KING had sustained a laceration to the left hind fetlock.
