Racing Incident Report

ATTRACTION and COSMO BULK were slow to begin. On jumping, PERFECT PARTNER shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of THE DUKE. Near the 1200 Metres, ATTRACTION became unbalanced when close to the heels of SUPER KID. Also near the 1200 Metres, COSMO BULK was shifted to the outside of the field, then ridden along to improve around runners and consequently raced three wide without cover outside the lead. After the 1000 Metres, TOWN OF FIONN was bumped by ATTRACTION which when proving difficult to settle shifted out away from the heels of SUPER KID. On straightening, AIN'T HERE was tightened for room between TIBER and BULLISH LUCK which at this time shifted to the outside of ATTRACTION. After the 200 Metres, THE DUKE, which was giving ground, was steadied when crowded for room between SUPER KID and BULLISH LUCK which shifted to the outside of SILENT WITNESS to obtain clear running. ATTRACTION was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, ATTRACTION was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the filly returned from racing showing signs of heat distress. BULLISH LUCK and SILENT WITNESS were sent for sampling.
