Racing Incident Report

LUCKY STALLION, which was fractious in the stalls, began awkwardly. On jumping, MY LANSON got its head up. Also on jumping, ALL CHANCES was bumped by SEASONS TREASURE which was carried in by ELECTRONICS SPUR. For a considerable distance after the 1600 Metres, CHINSOLA got its head up and raced fiercely. When being shifted in behind CHINSOLA in an attempt to obtain cover near the 1400 Metres, ELECTRONICS SPUR clipped the heels of that horse and blundered. No action was taken. At the 800 Metres, MY LANSON became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside the heels of ELECTRONICS SPUR. A short distance after this, MY LANSON raced in restricted room between KONRAD THE GREAT and DIAMOND ERA which shifted out slightly. Passing the 200 Metres, GOLD FIELD got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly. Near the 50 Metres, SHABU SHABU was steadied to avoid the heels of GOLD FIELD (S Sanders) which shifted in under pressure. S Sanders was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care. Throughout the race, DR MORE raced wide and without cover. EVERGREEN was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, EVERGREEN was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucopus in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, EVERGREEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. ELECTRONICS SPUR, ALL CHANCES and GOLD FIELD were sent for sampling.
