Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, the bridle of AIN'T HERE came loose. It was attempted to refit this bridle while AIN'T HERE was in the stall, however, as the horse proved difficult to manage, AIN'T HERE was then unloaded to have the bridle refitted. As a result of this, the start was delayed. Near the 1300 Metres, HELLO PRETTY was checked when crowded for room inside ARMADA which got its head on the side and shifted in momentarily. Over the final 200 Metres, VIVA PATACA hung out. Over the concluding stages, HELLO PRETTY hung in. Because of this just prior to the line, F Coetzee, its rider, stopped riding and straightened. ART TRADER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, ART TRADER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucopus in the horse's trachea. ARMADA and HELLO PRETTY were sent for sampling.
