Racing Incident Report

JOY AVENUE stumbled badly at the start.
TARGET FINDER began awkwardly, resulting in its rider, N Callan, becoming unbalanced.
JOY AVENUE lost its left front plate near the 900 Metres.
Passing the 150 Metres, TARGET FINDER was directed to the inside of TANG TREASURE to continue improving.
The performance of JOY AVENUE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JOY AVENUE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of JOY AVENUE immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained an overreach wound to the inside of the left front heel.
WINNING METHOD and U W BROTHER were sent for sampling.
