Racing Incident Report

1 6 FOREVER FOLKS (G463) Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 GOOD GOOD (J224) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 FIREFOOT (J183) When questioned R Kingscote stated that near the 600 Metres he elected to shift to a one-off position to follow GOOD GOOD. He said as he did so FIREFOOT commenced to race keenly and as a result he was obliged to take hold to avoid the heels of GOOD GOOD which resulted in FIREFOOT shifting out and making contact with HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER. He added when he was satisfied there was then sufficient room to improve between GOOD GOOD and HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER he then placed his mount under pressure to obtain that position. After considering his explanation the Stewards advised Jockey Kingscote to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
4 9 VIVA TASTE (K415) Raced wide and without cover until near the 800 Metres.
5 2 GLORIOUS SUCCESS (K062) No report.
6 8 SPECIAL HEDGE (H354) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when it shifted out and made contact with VERMILION TEMPEST.
7 14 FOREMOST TEDDY (J058) Sent for sampling post-race.
8 10 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) Bumped on jumping. M Guyon reported that his instructions were to ensure that he led tonight’s race. He said after racing in the lead YODA’S CHOICE was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 12 STAR BROSE (J463) Jumped awkwardly and made contact with YODA’S CHOICE. When being steadied to allow VIVA TASTE to cross leaving the 1600 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied to avoid that runner. STAR BROSE continued to race keenly throughout the early and middle stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 3 DOUBLE WIN (H382) Jumped only fairly.
11 1 VERMILION TEMPEST (L093) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between SPECIAL HEDGE which shifted out and HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER which lay in despite the efforts of its rider.
12 7 SERANGOON (H296) Jumped only fairly.
13 13 HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002) Lay in shortly after the start and was bumped. Near the 550 Metres was hampered when taken wider by FIREFOOT when that runner improved into a run where there was doubtful room between GOOD GOOD and HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER. M Chadwick reported that after being bumped and taken wider near the 550 Metres his mount was unable to finish the race off thereafter and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 5 FIGHTING MACHINE (J015) No report.
