1 4 EMBLAZON (K122) Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 2 KA YING ATTACK (J391) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 1 JUNEAU PRIDE (J443) Passing the 300 Metres got unbalanced when being bumped by EMBLAZON which shifted out to obtain clear running.
4 5 HEAVING (K576) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. From the 500 Metres was unable to improve its position when held up behind SUPERB KID before shifting out to gain clear running near the 300 Metres.
5 10 SHAMUS STORM (K031) No report.
6 9 ONE MORE (K261) No report.
7 14 THE ABSOLUTE (H438) Slowly away. After the 400 Metres was held up for clear running until approaching the 200 Metres. Approaching the 100 Metres shifted out abruptly when struck with the whip, hampering DREAMING TOGETHER which in turn inconvenienced LUCKY TWIN STARS. In assessing the incident the Stewards were satisfied that M L Yeung had made sufficient effort to straighten his mount at the first opportunity and therefore no further action was taken.
8 8 LUCKY TWIN STARS (K126) Approaching the 100 Metres was inconvenienced by DREAMING TOGETHER which was taken out by THE ABSOLUTE. A Atzeni reported that his instructions were to ride his mount back from today’s draw and bearing in mind LUCKY TWIN STARS was up in class today his mount found it more difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight in a stronger class race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 6 SUPERB KID (H298) Slowly away.
10 3 DREAMING TOGETHER (L215) Approaching the 100 Metres was hampered by THE ABSOLUTE which shifted out abruptly.
11 12 GREY CHARGER (K425) Slowly away.
12 11 FAMILY KNIGHT (K490) Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
