2 DH 2 GALLANT DESIGN (L161) Z Purton stated that his mount jumped awkwardly and as a result settled slightly further back in the field than he had anticipated. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 DH 7 NOBLE SUPERIOR (L392) Sent for sampling post-race.
4 3 DRAGON SKY FORCE (L198) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. When being shifted to the outside of LET’S HAVE FUN near the 200 Metres to obtain clear running made contact with PARROT BLESSING.
5 4 GLORY PATCH (L534) Jumped only fairly. Lay in in the Home Straight and raced greenly.
6 11 AMO ERGO SUM (K394) No report.
7 1 STANLEY EXPRESS (K476) Shortly after the start was eased when crowded between PARROT BLESSING and ENJOY GOLF, both of which shifted ground. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
8 9 HAPPY BRETHREN (L049) No report.
9 8 PARROT BLESSING (L063) Shifted in at the start and made contact with LET’S HAVE FUN. Bumped near the 200 Metres. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 5 SASSPHIRE (L400) No report.
11 10 ENJOY GOLF (J222) Jumped awkwardly. H Bentley stated that the intention was to cross and lead but when NOBLE SUPERIOR held its position to his inside he was obliged to race outside that runner. He added under pressure in the Home Straight ENJOY GOLF disappointed in the manner in which it responded. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 6 TELECOM FORTUNE (L424) In the early stages raced keenly and near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid LET’S HAVE FUN. Again near the 850 Metres was steadied to avoid LET’S HAVE FUN.
