Background:
Son of a trainer on the regional NAR circuit, Keiji Yoshimura joined the JRA as a groom in 1996. He obtained his training licence in 2011 and established his own stables the following year. Between 2015 to 2016, quality filly Queens Ring contributed all four of the trainer’s Group wins, including his first and only Group 1 win, the Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Kyoto. His best performers of late are Obamburumai, winner of the 2022 G2 Keio Hai Nisai Stakes and lucrative Golden Eagle in Sydney, Australia, and A Shin Fencer, victor of the 2025 G3 Silk Road Stakes.

Notable Wins Include:
Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2016 Queens Ring), G2 Nisai Stakes (2022 Obamburumai), G2 Fillies’ Revue (2015 Queens Ring), G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (2016 Queens Ring).
