| Background: Richard Kingscote began his career riding for Roger Charlton in 2004 as an apprentice. He took his first ride at Epsom Downs in 2004 – the same track where he landed his biggest win to date in the 2022 Derby Stakes aboard Desert Crown for trainer Sir Michael Stoute. Kingscote has previously ridden in Australia, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, France, Bahrain and Turkey. His first winner came at Lingfield in 2004. He also boasts an all-weather riding championship in 2021. Kingscote’s minimum riding weight is 121lb. |
