Racing Incident Report
After being boxed, CLASSIC CHOICE became restless, continually threw its head about. When the gates opened, CLASSIC CHOICE was slowly away. A RUN OF LUCK was slow to jump. On jumping, ARABICA was crowded for room between TOPSPIN TOO and CHINA RED, both of which shifted some ground. On the first turn, FOR SZESZE shifted out away from SING SING SING, as a consequence inconvenience was caused to TOPSPIN TOO and GOLDEN BELL, both of which were obliged to race considerably wider. After the 1000 Metres, CLASSIC CHOICE became unbalanced, shifted in and struck the running rail on two occasions. About the 700 Metres, A RUN OF LUCK shifted ground and bumped ARABICA. About the 600 Metres, PAR AVION was steadied when awkwardly placed just inside TOPSPIN TOO which itself was racing tight on the inside of GOLDEN BELL. B Doyle (CHINA RED) explained on jumping the horse shifted in abruptly, made contact with ARABICA. He said although covering some ground, CHINA RED travelled satisfactorily along the Back Straight, but then approaching and rounding the turn was awkwardly placed on the heels of GOLDEN BELL and in the Straight when in the clear he was of the view CHINA RED was continually unbalanced, did not stretch out as it should. As a consequence of this, he was not able to ride the horse out in his normal fashion.
