Racing Incident Report

On the way to the barriers, BEAUTY FOUNTAIN kicked out and made contact with a running rail. After arriving at the Start, the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who discussed the matter with Apprentice Y T Cheng. The Veterinary Surgeon then decided that BEAUTY FOUNTAIN was suitable to race. On jumping, HORSE OF HEALTHY slipped in front, then shifted out abruptly and bumped GO THE DISTANCE. BEAUTY FOUNTAIN jumped awkwardly. For some distance near the 600 Metres, RIGHT ON and BEAUTY FOUNTAIN raced tight when awkwardly placed between QUICK COMMANDER and the heels of CYBER WISDOM. In the early part of the Straight, RIGHT ON was steadied when crowded between BEAUTY FOUNTAIN and QUICK COMMANDER which shifted out. Also in the early part of the Straight, WISHES was not able to obtain running, then followed GLOBAL RUNNER through, but was not able to obtain a run on the inside of that horse until about 100 Metres from the line. At the 300 Metres, HORSE OF HEALTHY, which was giving ground, became unbalanced when crowded between BOLD DANCER and AMIABLE. About the 200 Metres, RIGHT ON was steadied away from the heels of BEAUTY FOUNTAIN when taken out by BORN SMART. Several times at about the 200 Meters, GLOBAL RUNNER and BOLD DANCER came together due to GLOBAL RUNNER shifting out. About right on the winning post, REALLY LUCKY and BEAUTY FOUNTAIN bumped.
