Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the barriers, RANGEELA had a nail adjusted in its near side front plate. Just as the gates opened, AUTHORISED, which had been restless, reared, as a consequence the horse lost considerable ground, then was steadied and shifted across behind other runners to a position at the rear but close to the rail. PLENTY WIN left the gates awkwardly, then in the early stages was very difficult to settle. In the early stages, GOOD NEWS was obliged to race very wide and without any cover. Also in the early stages, PAR AVION pulled, near the 1200 Metres was unbalanced on the heels of VICTORY MOUNT, in the middle and latter stages hung out and rounding the Home Turn was inconvenienced when taken out by RANGEELA. Near the 1000 Metres, ELECTRONIC SEEKER became unbalanced when awkward on the hindquarters of PLENTY WIN. Near the 600 Metres, CRAIG'S PRIDE struck the running rail. In the Straight, E Legrix (HEAVY WEAPON) was accidentally hit on the arm by the whip of Apprentice K C Tsang (CRAIG'S PRIDE). Also in the Straight, ARRECTIS AURIBUS did not obtain clear running and as a consequence the horse was not properly tested out. DANDY BUNNY and ELECTRONIC SEEKER were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
