Racing Incident Report
APPLIED SUPREME left the gates very awkwardly, threw its head about and in the opinion of the Stewards the run of the horse was considered unacceptable. Before APPLIED SUPREME can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. SMILEY WIN was slowly away. In the early stages, LUCKY CHARM when pulling hard proved very difficult to settle. Near the 1300 Metres, TUMBLER became unbalanced when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SOUNDS GOOD. SMILEY WIN, which was following, was hampered in consequence. Near the 400 Metres, QUICK STEP shifted out abruptly across the heels of LUCKY CHARM to find running and go forward. This caused some inconvenience to WILFRED'S NEW PET. Rounding the turn and in the Straight, BRAVISSIMO hung in. APPLIED SUPREME was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, it was reported that TUMBLER had lost its off side front plate.
