Racing Incident Report
TOM'S FIRST was slowly away. ABLE WIN left the gates awkwardly. On jumping, HORNET knuckled. About the 1400 Metres, PROJECTSTAR was checked to avoid the heels of GOLCONDA (A Suborics) which shifted in when not clear. A Suborics was severely reprimanded and told he must exercise far more care when shifting ground. For a short distance in the early part of the Straight, CLASSIC MASTER was held up for running between HORNET and GOLCONDA. About the 300 Metres, KIMBO BELL was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between FORTUNE PRIZES and CENTURY HORSE. In the run to the winning post, CLASSIC MASTER shifted out abruptly. Also in the run to the winning post, TOM'S FIRST, which was closing off, was checked and shifted out abruptly to avoid DESERT STORM which shifted in. When shifting ground, TOM'S FIRST bumped LUCKY SUPERSTAR. As a result of having to avoid DESERT STORM, TOM'S FIRST was not ridden out right to the winning post. ABLE WIN was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
