Racing Incident Report
B Fayd'herbe (LANDLORD) was reprimanded for failing to arrive on the course one hour before the first race. After arriving at the Start, the Veterinary Surgeon noted GLORY ST PAUL'S had a small wound to its upper gum. The horse was examined, the necessary consultations were carried out and it was then decided GLORY ST PAUL'S was suitable to race. On jumping, SMILEY WIN was immediately steadied to a rearward position. GLORY ST PAUL'S, which had been ridden along in an endeavour to go to the front, made the first turn awkwardly and shifted out. Just after the start, GLORIOUS WINNER was steadied when crowded between PRETTY BABY and STERLING CHANCE. STERLING CHANCE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
