Racing Incident Report

On jumping, RARE COLLECTION was severely checked when crowded between LASER GLORY and WINNING PLEASURE which left the gates very awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. The check to RARE COLLECTION was one of considerable significance, however, the Stewards were of the view it was accidental. As a consequence of WINNING PLEASURE shifting out, inconvenience was also caused to LASER GLORY. Then for the rest of the race, WINNING PLEASURE hung out badly. After the race, D Whyte (GOLFING PARTNERS) explained the horse did not finish the race off as he thought it should. GOLFING PARTNERS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. Subsequently the Veterinary Surgeon reported that GOLFING PARTNERS had lost both front egg bar plates.
