Racing Incident Report
Before being saddled, SUPER SUCCESS reared and kicked out several times. The horse was trotted up and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion the horse was suitable to race. OLIVER OR TWIST left the gates awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of PO ON WIN which itself on leaving the gates had shifted out slightly. SURE FIT jumped awkwardly, bumped the inside of its stall, then just after the start although ridden along was unable to hold its position. Just on straightening, LOVE ON EARTH and SUPER SUCCESS came together. The performance of SPRING FOREST HERO, which tailed off, was considered by the Stewards to be unacceptable. Before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform competitively and satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and must pass an official veterinary examination. SPRING FOREST HERO was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. TAMAR and PO ON WIN were sent for sampling.
