Racing Incident Report
SUPER BOLD RACER was slowly away. About the 800 Metres, HAIL WINNER, which for some time had been ridden hard to maintain a position between SUPER BOLD RACER and ACE OF PACE, was checked when SUPER BOLD RACER shifted out away from HOLY WINE. The check was one of some significance, however, in view of the circumstances, no action was taken. On straightening, SHERDIL, which was giving ground quickly, was steadied when momentarily crowded by SIR TIMAH which hung in away from MUNDAHISH. For some distance in the early part of the Straight, ACE OF PACE was held up behind WINNING SEASON and tight inside FOREVER GOLD. To obtain running, ACE OF PACE was steadied and shifted out abruptly near the 200 Metres. Near the 300 Metres, SIR TIMAH, which was giving ground, was steadied when momentarily tightened by MUNDAHISH (Apprentice M W Leung). Apprentice M W Leung was told to exercise more care. JOYFUL STAR and CLASSIC CHOICE were sent for sampling.
